After a day of flying near Savannah, I found myself right at home (my
second home if you will?). I was at the Bass Pro Shops in their Fly
Fishing mini store. I managed to take a few pics before leaving. One of
them was of this vintage fly fishing reel they had mounted on the wall.
About a week after this day I was at home going through my pics from
that afternoon and I came across the vintage fly reel. It hit me, if I'm
going to draw again I need to start now. This is a perfect subject to
get me out of my comfort zone of drawing portraits! So, I did a quick
sketch and started filling in the details.
